Today was Ethan's first day of 1st grade. It started out just perfect. We all got up on time and got ready on time and then in an instant everything changed. We went out got in the car to leave and the CAR WONT START! We've had issues with this in the past but it's because someone left a light on or a door part way open. Put the battery charger on the car and to my surprise it's not the battery. After being charging for over an hour it still wont start. Luckily we have wonderful family that lives close by and don't care if you call them at 7:30 in the morning and wake them up not realizing what time you are calling. My father in law was able to get us to Ethan's school only about 7 minutes late. Unfortunately we couldn't do the fun pictures you normally do on the first day of school. (We're going to do it the 2nd day instead) My brother in law comes over to take a look to make sure all the wires are on tight Yup, they are. It's not that. We still don't know what is wrong but it still wont start. What a great thing to happen when your car mechanic/husband is working 4 hours away and wont be home till the weekend. Oh yeah, and did I mention you can't call him either because he has no reception at his job site? UGH! Luckily, my Mom was headed out this direction today and she was going with me to my Dr. Apt. She was able to pick Erika and I up and make it to pick Ethan up just in time for school to be out. Wow, what a stressful morning! But let me tell you every bit of stress and frustration completely melted away when I saw our Baby!
It's heart was beating (171 beats a min) and It was just kicking and moving all over. I had a great apt and our Baby will be here around the end of March!
So all in all my Rotten, No good, Horrible, Awful, Miserable, Terrible day ended up pretty good! My parents are loaning me a car so we don't have this issue again for a little bit.
