Last Beach Trip of 2011

I was so Lucky Erik took the week after Christmas off but it only ended up he was only missing 3 days of work. We got some stuff done around the house and then we took a short beach trip! The kids have never been to the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Erik and I haven't been there since our honeymoon. The kids were so excited to go to the beach! I think I was the most excited!!! I've wanted to go all year! I was a little worried on how Emmalynn would do. It was her first vacation. Away from home, away from her bed. but she did GREAT! Man, I sure lucked out with her! We had a blast and it was a great way to end Erik's vacation time before he has to go back to work. I have a very sad 3 year old that daddy is going back.

Family Christmas 2011

Each year we have a family Christmas party that includes Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparents. All the little cousins have so much fun running around and playing with each other. Our 2010 Christmas party my Cousin Crystal was 6 months pregnant, I was 5 months pregnant and Carol-Jean was about a month along (she had just found out) The 3 of us were sitting and talking and my mother thought it was a cute picture the 3 preggos. This year we've obviously all had our babies so we had to get 1 more picture. I can't begin to tell you how Crazy my mother and aunts were trying to get Isaiah (Carol-Jean's baby) and Nathan (Crystal's baby) to smile. It doesn't take much for Emmalynn to smile, I had to hold her hands down because whenever my mother or aunts would say hi to the boys in their crazy high pitched voices it just made Emmalynn even happier and she loves to wave HI. These 3 are going to have great fun in the years to come playing with each There is 1 more that also get's to join in on the fun who came about a month after Isaiah.
